In the 1980s, Hans Dieter Niemann acquired the company Joachim Gluske, which was founded in 1955 in Wuppertal, Germany. He subsequently renamed it Gluske GmbH. 1997
In 1997, Hans Dieter Niemann decided to establish BKV GmbH in Wuppertal. With BKV GmbH, he expanded the business field and focused more on innovative construction concepts and solutions.
2003
A significant step followed in 2003 when Hans Dieter Niemann invested in China and founded BKV (Beijing) Construction Material Co. Ltd. This strategic decision allowed the company to establish a presence in the emerging Chinese market and benefit from the growing opportunities in the construction industry.
2016
In 2016, the company's history took another significant turn. The German company Smart Home Systemtechnologie GmbH, based in Mettmann, Germany acquired BKV Beijing entirely. As a result of this acquisition, the company name was changed to Smart Home (Beijing) Construction Technology Co. Ltd. The acquisition opened new opportunities and brought additional expertise into the company.
2023
